They use simple language, visual models and steady practice so Biology, Chemistry and Physics feel more manageable. Sessions run online or in person across the UK.

How we help
Every student excels in some areas and struggles in others, so we don’t use a standardised approach. All tutors are carefully interviewed before joining Sunbeam and share our commitment to compassionate, engaging teaching. Each has expertise in supporting students with SEN, and has up-to-date safeguarding training, insurance, and an Enhanced DBS certificate.
Our method
Focused 60-minute sessions with varied tasks, short breaks, and plenty of encouragement. Tutors are experts in their field and teach in their own style. We link strategies back to classwork so progress and confidence translates to school.
GCSE and A Level Science support
GCSE and A Level Science tutoring for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Some students need help filling gaps from earlier topics, others want to push grades higher. We focus on understanding first, then practise the kinds of questions that come up in papers, including longer answers, maths, and graphs.

Yes. We teach AQA, Edexcel, and OCR specifications. Past papers, topic checklists and exam-style practice are great ways to prepare. We build support around the student’s access arrangements where applicable.
We rehearse planning, variables and expected outcomes, then work through results tables, graphs and summarisations.
Yes. We teach formula memory and rearranging, unit conversions, and significant figures, showing working to gain method marks.
