What is an EHCP audit?
Independent forensic review of your EHCP. Our specialists review your EHCP and supporting reports to identify unclear wording, missing provision, and areas that could be strengthened before submission. We do not replace legal advice, and we do not act as solicitors. Our focus is educational and practical, centred on understanding your student’s profile and making sure the plan reflects that.
Who this EHCP audit is for?
This service is designed for parents who:
- Have received a draft EHCP that feels unclear or incomplete
- Want to strengthen an EHCP before review or submission
- Need clearer evidence after a refused EHC needs assessment
- Are unsure how to bring together reports from school, an Educational Psychologist, or therapists
- Feel overwhelmed by the EHCP process
- Want support from experienced SEND professionals who understand how plans are used in real schools
If you are not sure whether this is the right stage for an audit, you can contact us with a short outline of your situation and we will advise you.

Quick answers to common questions
The audit is for parents and carers who already have a draft or existing EHCP and want a clear, independent review before agreeing, requesting changes, or considering an appeal.
We can review both drafts and issued EHCPs. Many families find it most helpful to get an audit at draft stage, before they sign.
We do not rewrite the whole plan. Instead, we highlight amber and red issues and suggest specific wording changes or additions you can request from the Local Authority.
Not as part of the fixed–fee audit. If you would like us to join meetings or calls, this can be arranged as separate consultancy at £150 per hour.
No. The audit is an educational opinion from experienced education professionals. It is not legal advice. If you need legal support for tribunal or formal appeal, we can signpost you to specialist solicitors.
