    We take great pride in offering the best tutoring and educational services for students in need. Providing students with access to tips and techniques that we develop in-house through our ever-improving teaching and coaching approaches.

    At Sunbeam Education, we prioritise building strong and understanding relationships with our students. We believe in treating each student as an individual rather than a diagnosis or label; we favour educators and coaches with first-hand experience over clinicians.

    Most of us have been diagnosed with one of these conditions ourselves, so we can offer personal advice from someone who understands what it’s like living with these challenges daily. We strive to create an environment that encourages learning and growth while fostering confidence and independence. With our support, students can achieve the success they deserve.

    Our mission is to help our students succeed in their educational endeavours by providing the necessary tools and support to reach their full potential. We are committed to providing personalised instruction tailored to each student’s unique learning style and challenges.

    Our tutors and coaches are highly trained professionals who understand the unique challenges students with special needs face. We have developed a series of methods and techniques that we have found to be successful, and we are constantly improving them. We recognise that every student is different, and we strive to provide a safe, nurturing environment where they can feel comfortable asking questions, seeking help, and receiving feedback without judgement or criticism. Ultimately, our goal is for our students to succeed academically and personally. By offering personalised instruction, resources, guidance, and support, we aim to equip our students with the skills they need for lifelong success in school and beyond.

I’m an experienced tutor and coach, specialising in Science and Maths, with a PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry and a love for teaching.

I have over 12 years of experience tutoring and coaching students at various levels, from pre-GCSE to university, including adult learners and those with severe learning difficulties. I was diagnosed with combined-type ADHD and autism as an adult and had extensive experience with autism and dyslexia. Growing up, I was often labelled “lazy” and “a daydreamer” in the classroom. However, once I identified a learning style that worked for me, I enjoyed education again. This led me to discover a passion for Chemistry, eventually completing my PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry. I understand the educational environment’s impact on learning, particularly for those with learning difficulties, ADHD and autism. As someone who has experienced this first-hand, it’s important to me that I create a supportive environment where students can feel comfortable and confident enough to learn without judgement or stigma.

At Sunbeam Education, we highly value the quality and effectiveness of our services. With this in mind, we have initiated partnerships with individuals at charities and universities to refine our tutor training material and ensure it is consistently exceedingly high in standard.
