Many agencies offer a long list of tutors. We do not. We keep our team small and only work with tutors we are confident in.
Our team stays small because we have strict requirements for insurance, safeguarding, and Enhanced DBS checks. This means we may not always have multiple options for every subject or location. We prioritise finding the right person over filling a role quickly. If you want many profiles to choose from straight away, a larger provider may be a better match.
Some services focus on specific titles and only recruit people with those qualifications. That approach works well for many families.
We work with SEN specialists, qualified teachers, and subject experts. We do not match purely on job titles or qualifications.
We look for calm, clear teaching, relevant experience of neurodivergence, and the ability to build trust with students. If you want a tutor chosen mainly for formal titles (for example QTS, PGCE, or SENCO), another service may suit you better.
We want students to feel comfortable and encouraged, but learning can still feel challenging at times. Building confidence and steady routines involves calm, consistent work. If you are looking for sessions that focus mainly on games or high-energy entertainment, we are unlikely to be the right fit.
We cannot promise specific grades or exam results. There are too many factors outside of our control on the day of an exam. Our focus is on helping students feel more capable and less stressed about learning. We aim for progress that supports them beyond a single test.
