My experience with special educational needs
Hi, my name is Rosalind and I have much experience both online and in person with special needs pupils. I'm patient and kind and I adapt my teaching style to the pupil's learning style and requirements. Learning is always fun with me! A bit about me
I am always tutoring special needs pupils online. They feel comfortable with me. Learning is always fun with me, and I can adapt my lesson to the pupil's needs by changing approach if necessary. I am patient and kind, and I find different ways of explaining concepts which are accessible to my pupils' needs. I have had great success with special needs pupils of all ages.
My teaching philosophy
Learning is always fun with me! I use a variety of resources including online activities as well as more structured tasks. I like to make learning as easy and as accessible as possible for my pupils. I am positive and encourage a safe and comfortable environment in which pupils feel at ease to attempt tasks without the need for perfection first time round. I reward my pupils often with praise as well as by awarding certificates to celebrate their achievements.

My daughter was struggling with her English homework, and Rosalind was recommended to me by a friend whose daughter 3 years ago was also struggling with English, but is now at a top university, thanks to Rosalind. My daughter's teachers, at parents evening, were telling me that she would need to ‘up her game’ if she wanted to get into a prep school as she wouldn't stand a chance. Well I can comfortably say with Rosalind teaching my daughter, we proved them wrong! My daughter got in to a prep school and it’s all thanks to Rosalind. I highly recommend Rosalind, for any parent's child who is struggling at school. So a very proud father as you can imagine :) Rosalind's teaching skills and techniques are at a very high standard. Five stars all the way, thank you once again Rosalind. I wish there were more teachers like you.

Rosalind tutored my son in English in his primary school years. Her lessons were well prepared and tailored to my son’s needs. She has a professional and gentle approach. Lessons were varied and interesting keeping my son engaged. His confidence improved remarkably as did his academic progress. I would not hesitate to recommend her.
