My experience with special educational needs
I have been in education for over twenty years, teach English in SEN schools. I have been SLT in SEN schools and helped them get from Good to Outstanding. I run my own neurodiversity company and due to my own ADHD, I have a passion and great experience with special educational needs. My lived experience of struggling with school and various behaviours have helped me massively in becoming a highly-skilled coach as I have great understanding and sympathy with individuals in a similar position. That is why I like to create bespoke plans for each individual client, whilst building rapport and understanding to ensure that the individual can thrive.
A bit about me
I have spent many years in SEN and have tutored/coached for many more. I am often described as having great relationships with clients and that I think is the cornerstone of progress. That ans having a full and robust understanding of neurodiversity ensures that my clients are learning and making progress that will stand them in good stead for later life.
My teaching philosophy
I like to build trust rapport and understanding, whilst also ensuring that self-esteem and belief is rebuilt. My sessions are bespoke as to what suits the individual client, so often it may be issues and problems that clients might bring to the sessions, or if they prefer it will be learning about specific aspects of their SEN etc.

Trevor was a very diligent and thoughtful therapist. He was insightful and supportive, ensuring that my son got the best out of his sessions with him. His pro active nature was contagious, but he ensured he was clear and resolute, along with organised and prepared, for the tasks he had to complete. Would highly recommend.

I loved working with Trevor. He is incredibly insightful and made me think about changes I could make to become more aspirational and fundamentally happier.

I have been coached by Trevor for many years. I have found him to be an excellent listener. He is thoughtful in approach and has always been sensitive to my needs.. His advice is clear and practical, sometimes challenging. He is a brilliant communicator and I would recommend him to anyone, especially those with ADHD or any other neurodivergency.

If you feel you need to be understood or don’t understand your head yourself, Trevor is the man. Not only does he identify problems, he puts practices in place in order to help you deal with these problems, not just for now but long-term. I can’t recommend him enough.

From the beginning, Trevor totally understood my son, and was able to get him from an incredibly dark place to one that I have not seen him in for a very long time. He gave him the tools to understand his diagnosis of AuDHD and how to incorporate it into his every day life. Would highly recommend
