Tutors

Alex Pagett

I have recently completed my PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry and love teaching the sciences. I have over 12 years of experience in tutoring and coaching and want to bring my passion to others. Having been diagnosed with ADHD, I recognised the challenges associated with the condition throughout my education. I wanted to use the skills I learned to support those struggling with their education

Alisha Macleod

As a result of having ADHD myself, I am passionate about ensuring children with the same condition I have, have the opportunities and support I nearly missed out on. I love teaching students to enjoy literature in a way that can expand their knowledge of the wider world and in ways that will benefit them when they leave school. A natural passion for literature is something I will always encourage, and I look forward to being able to teach students who share this same passion as me!

Atara Kevelson

I have a BA in Psychology and years of experience tutoring all ages in various subjects. I myself have ADHD and spent a long time struggling and “not fitting in” before I finally found strategies that worked. I think it’s important for kids to know that their differences are not limiting, just challenges that can be solved with practice and effort. I will work to help you develop skills and learn strategies to excel in learning and reach your goals

Ruth Bidmead

I have over 10 years of experience working as an Educator with Qualified Teacher Status. I started my career as a Biomedical Scientist before becoming a Qualified Teacher and working as a Specialist Targeted Intervention Teacher working with ADHD and ASD pupils. I have recently been referred for a diagnosis of ADHD, which further fuels my passion to support others with ADHD. I am committed to helping students with ADHD reach their full potential by supporting their academic work and furthering their life skills.

Keileigh Ward

Both Maths and teaching are real passions for me and I have recently completed a PhD in Mathematics at Swansea University. I have around ten years of experience tutoring both one-on-one and in small groups, and as someone with ADHD I can appreciate the challenges associated with the condition. I have had to experiment with lots of different strategies to get to where I am today, and I want to pass those on.
